Backpacking Ages 12-17 TBA
Canoe Camping Ages 12-17 TBA
Sea Kayaking Ages 12-17 TBA

These four-day trips, offered to ages 12-17, provide the unique opportunity for the camper to experience nature first hand. Led by a trained wilderness guide, these trips are challenging yet rewarding in many ways. The sense of community gained by exploring the wilderness with fellow campers as they carry out day-to-day responsibilities is a valuable life experience. Daily devotions and group worship allow campers to reflect spiritually and gives them an immediate way to appreciate God’s creation.

On arrival at Quaker Lake, campers get acquainted with one another and their staff leaders. They receive training on their specific events including paddling techniques and basic wilderness orientation. That evening will be spent packing and preparing for the following morning’s early departure. The next three days will be spent in the woods or on the river, enveloped in nature’s finest scenery with tools for survival on their back or in their canoe. Enjoy the liberating feeling while building self confidence, learning about the outdoors, and connecting with your purist self in God’s creation. Campers will return to Quaker Lake on Friday to participate in the closing campfire worship service.
