Quaker Lake Camp

The Quaker Lake Camp Foundation was established in 2018 to solicit, receive, and manage contributions to benefit Quaker Lake Camp. The QLC Foundation is building an endowment to support QLC in perpetuity, while also meeting the immediate financial needs of QLC. (Click on the "The QLC Foundation" button for more information.) Your support is critical to the success and sustainability of Quaker Lake Camp.

You may choose which fund to support with your gift:

• QLC Operating/Program – Contributions to this fund will be available to Quaker Lake Camp to supplement its annual budget as needed. Funds may be used for supplies and staffing for summer camp and other camp programs, maintenance of facilities, camp operations, etc. A small portion of these funds may be used to operate the nonprofit QLC Foundation including an annual audit, bank/credit card fees, fundraising software, office supplies, etc.

• Unrestricted Fund – Unrestricted funds may be used for any purpose related to Quaker Lake Camp and the QLC Foundation.

• QLC Endowment – Funds contributed to the endowment will be invested, per the Foundation’s investment policy. The principal will remain untouched and only a portion of the earnings will be used to support QLC and QLC Foundation in perpetuity.

• Camper Scholarships – This fund helps provide opportunities to campers who would not otherwise be able to afford registration fees.

There are several ways to financially support Quaker Lake Camp:

• Deferred or Planned Gift – This may include a bequest (designated in a will), Charitable Remainder Trust, life insurance naming QLC Foundation as the beneficiary, retirement plan beneficiary designation, etc. If you are considering a planned gift, please let us know to ensure our ability to carry out your wishes. • Check – Make your check payable to QLC Foundation and mail to QLC Foundation, 1503 NC Highway 62 East, Climax, NC  27233. Indicate the fund you wish to support in the memo line.

• Credit Card, Debit card, or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT/Bank Draft) – Click on the "Donate Now" button below to make your one-time or recurring gift through our secure payment site.

• Stock Gift – Contact Joyce Wolford at joyce@quakerlakecamp.org or 336-674-2321 for information about donating shares of stock to the QLC Foundation.

Honor/Memorial Gifts

A gift for Quaker Lake Camp is a meaningful way to honor or memorialize a loved one. We will notify the person being honored or a family member of the person being memorialized, but we will not share the amount of your gift. Tribute gifts may be made by check (see details above) or online by clicking here. Be sure to include the name and address of the person being honored, or the name of the person being memorialized and the name and address of the family member to be notified.

 

Sponsorship Opportunities

New this year, the QLC Foundation is offering sponsorship opportunities for various QLC activities/events. This is in addition to sponsorships available for the QLC Golf Tournament.
